This policy covers the processing of data of people who browse the site or who provide data through its forms.
Personal data
Personal data is information that identifies you or makes you identifiable. Through the website we collect the data you send us: name, surname, email, telephone, postal address, town and anything else you choose to provide. Visiting the site does not require you to provide data. If you do, it is processed lawfully under the GDPR and the Spanish data protection act.
Purpose, retention and legal basis
- To handle a request made through the donation form, so that the gift can be processed and managed. Data is kept for as long as needed to fulfil the request and for the legal retention periods, with a minimum of 3 years. The legal basis is performance of the donation relationship: without this processing the donation cannot be carried out.
- To improve browsing. This data is kept until you withdraw consent by deleting cookies, and for the period required by law, with a minimum of 3 years. The legal basis is consent when you accept cookies. You may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Sharing and international transfers
Data is not shared with or transferred to third parties, except where the law requires it or where providers linked to the controller act as processors. There are no international transfers. If any were made, consent would be requested.
Updates, third-party data and required fields
Please tell us if your data changes. You confirm that the data you provide is truthful, up to date and accurate. If you provide another person’s data, you confirm that you obtained it lawfully, that you informed them and that you have their consent.
Forms mark required data with an asterisk (*). If those fields are left empty, or the privacy policy is not accepted when it is requested, the form cannot be sent.
Your rights
You may access your data, obtain confirmation and a copy, rectify it, erase it when it is no longer needed, restrict processing, object, withdraw consent and request portability. You may also not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing. Write to lopd.fcemcat@cem-cat.org or to the Foundation’s address. If you believe your rights have not been met, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Children
Anyone who submits data through the forms and accepts processing states that they are at least 14 years old. Access and use by anyone younger is not allowed. If the Foundation detects that a child under 14 has provided personal data, it will delete it. Parents or guardians may ask for the account of a child in their care to be blocked if the child registered by falsifying their identity.
Social networks
Tools such as Facebook, X, Instagram and other networks are used to give visibility to the organisation’s work. They store data on the servers of those services and are governed by their own policies. Read those conditions when you register. The Foundation may remove unlawful information or messages that attack the dignity of people or institutions, and may block or report the profile that posted them.
